Marrying The Bridegroom-King

This week has been a week of remembering and celebrating!
I have been repeatedly recounting what a year ago was like since Sept. 18, 2019. The number 22 is very dear to my heart. It is the day I was born and since I’ve come to the awareness of the many different ways that God speaks, He often speaks to me on the number 22. I get a flood of 22’s everywhere, clocks, receipts, liscense plate, barcodes, you name it my eyes catches it. I get very excited when I see them. “What are you saying to me Lord?” Often He lets me know that He is just thinking about me and that He is very happy the day that I was born. “Yes Lord I know”, I speak back to Him and smiles. He will not allow even a smidge of unbelief about His affection toward me grow in my heart as the seed of His righteousness inevitably grows in fullness in me.

To expound a bit more on the number 22 specifically for me and in how the Lord has been using this not just to encourage me about His enduring love, but to define the steps He is leading me to walk out His plans for my life (Jeremiah 29:11).

My dear and precious friend Mary told me that Song of Songs is the 22nd book of the bible. I’ve not heard about that revelation or teaching about God in the Song of Songs other than back in 2016, watching Mary herself slowly talked about her love affair with The Bridegroom. Her Tuesday morning dates with Him. Even without understanding I just agreed with her. I was covered by the peace of God. Soon my heart would be flooded with this revelation light and I would come meet face to face with The Bridegroom-King Himself. He was wooing me with His passionate desire for all of me. His affection is undeniable irresitable. That began the journey of a deepening intimacy with God The Bridegroom-King. Strong and mighty yet very affectionate.

Genesis 22 also is very dear to my heart which recounts the story of Abraham being asked of the Lord to offer his promised son Isaac as a burnt offering of His worship to God. Matthew 22 gives us the parable of the Wedding Feast given by Jesus Himself. Revelation 22:17 is the cry of the Spirit and the bride and them who hears, who thirst, who desires, “Come!” Acts 2:22 is the miracles, wonders, and signs of God. Genesis 2:2 is the rest of God on day 7 from all His work after 6 days of creation. Genesis 2:22 is the creation of a woman from the rib of the man and her being brought to the man. Many more revelation on the number 22. As I recounted these myself right now I am getting very excited to see the light of God being shined on my path in this very moment (Psalm 119:105).

A year ago today, 4 days after Hurricane Florence dissipated and my Homecoming back to Chicago I get another dream. As I briefly shared and taught on dreams in House Cleaning, this particular dream is straight to the point and direct. It didnt have much symbolism or riddles to seek the Lord for revelation and interpretation in order to unpack and unfold the message in the story. Everything is there!

Dreams are symbolic in nature designed to tell a story about past, present, and future.

Here is the dream:
I’m at a bar and one of my female colleague wanted me to preach the gospel to everyone there. So I did without hesitation.
I said to the people in the bar, “can I get everyone’s attention?” I approached one of the woman, we stood on top of the bar, and I used her story about getting married as an example.
I said, “isn’t she beautiful and deserving of love?” (She smiles)..
“There is this king of an everlasting Kingdom. He told her that she wanted to marry her and to be in His Kingdom. She said Yes! (Everyone clapped and was happy).
But The King is not satisfied and wanted everyone to be with Him in His Kingdom. He is asking if everyone would want to come?
Everyone says, Yes we would!
I then said, “Do you want to know who this King is? His name is Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Son of The Living God, Lord and Savior of the world, Resurrected King, who is alive today. He is called The Bridegroom of our soul and He is coming back for His Bride.
Do you all want to be married to Him? Salvation is accepting His invitation, then walking in His Kingdom with Him to do His will. That at the end of this lifetime you are not knocking at the gate asking Him to let you in. You will already be inside for Eternity.”
If you want to know more, raise your hand and we will talk to you more about Him. Then all of my colleague was smiling at me and they began to talk to the people one by one about Salvation.

Breaking down the dream:
Once again this dream is straight to the point. This dream gives me the calling of God in my life, my purpose, and my destiny. Most of us have asked “what is my calling, purpose, and destiny in this lifetime?” I want to help people identify God’s plans for their lives. In which I will address in another writings. I myself was asking the Lord what is mine? Just last month I was sharing with a prophetic community that I think I know what it is, but I want to find out for sure. The Lord is faithful to bring my heart back to the revelation He has already given me in 2017.

Hurricane Florence took place in the end of summer of 2018 and it brought some questioning of my identity and the plans of God for my life at some measure, but was not victorious in overcoming me in anyway. The Lord continue to remind me in the last month,
Go back to 2017 for this is a monumental year for you Florence in so many areas of your life with The Bridegroom.”
Part of my heart resonate so much with this dream last year. Here I am sitting on top of my bed after waking up from this dream last year and was so encouraged and filled with God’s glorious hope alive inside of me even after the Hurricane. His delivered me again and again and cleaned my house “my soul” in my dreams many times. Then affirms who I am in Him and the plans He has ordained for my life and His faithful promises.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.” – Romans 8:28-31

As a celebration of the Anniversary of Hurricane Florence and in response to this prophetic dream, I want to on this day invite you and including myself to saying Yes to marrying The Bridegroom. The bible talks about Jesus being the Bridegroom and the bride belongs to Him (John 3:22-36).

Would you be His Bride?

I am a firm believer as I have had the revelation and have known it by experience as well that the most intimate place in God is belonging to Him as His Bride. It’s not belonging just by knowledge as the bible says this, but you have made a declaration and a vow with Him in your heart that, “Yes Lord Jesus I want to and I say Yes to this Spiritual union with you. By your Holy Spirit teach me to be your wife. What does this mean?” I have been asking Him this lately, “What does it mean to be your wife Lord?”

In a healthy and whole family unit, Husband and Wife with good friendship in their marriage. Fruitful and many children and have great relationship and friendships as well with each other, Mom to children, Dad to children and vise versa. What is the most intimate relationship would you say in this healthy and whole family unit? Intimacy with the man and woman in the context of a holy marriage is the most intimate connection and relationship there is. It is the most fruitful of all relationships. It is this deeply knowing of each other in ways you wouldn’t with others nor another, but this one singular and particular person. Your eye is single to H.I.M. alone!

I pray to Abba, in the name of Jesus Christ, by the power of Holy Spirit that you would open up your heart to allow God to reveal Himself to you as The Eternal Bridegroom-King of your soul. I pray that the eyes of your understanding would be enlightened to know the hope of His calling. That you would recognize the many ways He is already calling your attention like the 22’s for me and enjoy Him wooing your heart. I pray that you would be enthralled to set yourself apart for the purpose of belonging to Him and the destiny of becoming His Eternal Bride. That you would dive into a deepening intimacy with God as the Bridegroom in this season of your life and walk with Him so intimately.
To be fully naked, unashamed, and known.

Enjoy the bridal journey…
